Life is filled with so many questions and at times you may wonder how to find the answers to those questions. Fortunately, the Bible gives you plenty of insight into wisdom and knowledge. Armed with these verses, you will feel confident about understanding who God is and what he expects from His people.
Proverbs 6:1
Proverbs 16:1 is a helpful verse that shows you God is ultimately in control of the lives of the people he created. God is sovereign and knows what is best for his people; therefore, his plans will always prevail over the plans of his people. This does not mean planning is useless but should encourage you to know this and strive to do things that are in line with God's teachings.
Colossians 1:10
Colossians 1:10 reveals the importance of living a life worthy of being a child of God. God desires his people to please him and to bear fruit as they do good things, such as helping others, encouraging others, and showing kindness and love to others. God also wants his people to know who he is and to follow his teachings.
When others see the difference God is making in your life, they may want to pursue their own relationship with him. That is why such importance is placed on living out your life as a child of God. It is through God's people that his wisdom and knowledge can be passed on to others.
Proverbs 2:3-6
Proverbs 2:3-6 provides advice on how you can obtain wisdom and knowledge and teaches that you must cry out for discernment and lift up your voice to ask for understanding. It states that in order to gain wisdom, you must look for it like you would search for a treasure that is hidden. When you diligently seek God, the result will be the gaining of knowledge and wisdom for improving your life and increasing your faith.
The Bible often discusses getting wisdom and gaining knowledge about God. Not only will the Bible help you find answers to many of life's questions, but it will also provide you with knowledge of God so you can learn to trust God with your life. God's ways are never meant to burden his people but to help them thrive and live the best life possible.
